Human Cascade LLC ("we", "us") operates this site. We act as the data controller for personal information collected through it. Contact: admin@humancascade.com.

• email address — when you sign up for updates or donate
• display name, country, cause — when you donate and choose to appear on the wall
• usage/telemetry — anonymous page events (votes, shares, page loads)
• payment data — collected and processed by Stripe, not stored by us

• Provide the service (contract performance)
• Send transactional confirmations and, if opted in, updates (consent)
• Prevent fraud, secure the service, measure aggregate participation (legitimate interests)
• Comply with tax and legal obligations (legal obligation)

# retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law (typically up to 7 years for financial records). Anonymous analytics may be kept indefinitely. You can request deletion at any time.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure.

We use only essential storage (a local browser identifier for vote deduplication and, if you sign in, a session token). We do not use marketing or third-party analytics cookies.
